Every time I glance at those vet papers it reminds me of a story. This story took place right after I got him. We’d had him for a week.

Bugsy is a Dwarf rabbit. He is grey with white blotches all over him. Christmas is when we got that fuzzy “creature”, A late present as I call it. That rabbit is about 3 months old now. , Fuzzy, the rabbit reminds me of an overly hyper nut job on steroids. His favorite activity is playing outside in the backyard.

It was a chilly January morning. If I Had not awoken to the splendid smell of delightful pancakes I would have not gotten up and went down stairs. Hesitantly I carried Bugsy with me looking left and right for the dogs to jump out of nowhere. Once I realized they were outside I scurried down the stairs careful not to wake my slumbering siblings. While I set Bugsy free to Rome around the house I chatted with my mom. When munching my breakfast my mom was slashing at carrots, broccoli, and celery for Bugsy. After slurping down apple juice walked around the house with my mom to find him. Mom finally found him and sat the delightful veggies right next to him. Suddenly he started jumping very quickly in small little circles like a leprechaun who had just found a gold mine! Suddenly my mom told me to go get dressed. She called a babysitter to watch my siblings. I ran up stairs, threw on some clothes and ran back down. In the blink of an eye I had found a box to put Bugsy in. While zooming down the freeway I stroked Bugsy’s fur softly. Finally we arrived at the vet’s office. Casually we strolled in and sat Bugsy’s box right by a ferocious German Sheppard. The dog started to sniff the box then loocked at me I gave it that don’t-even-think-about-it look. Up walked my mom to check us in and see how long the wait was going to be. Mrs. Gondolas, the lady with a forced smile said it would be about ten minutes. After what seemed like hours of waiting I heard Bugsy’s name called to go see the vet. His office smelt like a variety of pets but at the same time clean. He started asking many questions and then more questions eventually he announced he needed to go take DNA tests on Bugsy. Once he got back he declared that Bugsy was going to be just fine… Except he needed to take a medicine to calm him down. Now we always laugh when he does it because it reminds us of this story. Dad was kind of mad we went and spent that money without telling him. He is fine now. Still I cannot believe my brother and sister slept through all of the events that took place. For the babysitter we came home to find the babysitter asleep on the couch.
